Milan June 5th 2025 – EREN Storage Italia and Bia Group develop 5 battery energy storage (BESS) projects for a total capacity of 464MW in Italy with land and grid connection secured. Permitting process is underway for three of them.
The two sites recently added to this partnership are located in South Italy (Apulia and Sicily) with land and grid connection with Terna secured. Studies are currently underway and will pave the way to the permitting phase.
EREN Storage Italia and BiaPower are jointly developing the BESS Projects with the aim to build and operate the BESS projects over the long term.
